Harrison Butker attended the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl ring ceremony on Thursday night with wife Isabelle by his side nearly a month after his controversial commencement speech at Benedictine College.

Butker's appearance in a beige cream suit was also one week after he helped save teammate BJ Thompson when the defensive lineman went into cardiac arrest.

Isabelle wore a green dress with matching shoes to complement her husband of six years. The couple has two children together as well.

The three-time Super Bowl champion has been under fire for the last month thanks to his remarks, including calling women 'homemakers' and that men set the tone in relationships.

'I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolic lies told to you. Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world,' Butker said in the mid-May speech.

Butker's commencement speech from Benedictine College last month put him under fire

'I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother.,' Butker added. 'I’m on this stage today, able to be the man that I am, because I have a wife who leans into her vocation.'

'I’m beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me, but it cannot be overstated that all my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all, homemaker,' Butker concluded.

Also as part of the speech, Butker was critical of President Joe Biden.

The Chiefs kicker was in attendance last month in Washington DC for the team's trip to be celebrated at the White House with Biden.

'Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally,' Butker said.

'He has been so vocal in his support for the murder of innocent babies that I'm sure to many people, it appears that you can be both Catholic and pro-choice,' Butker continued.

Butker wore his two previous championship rings, which is won with the Chiefs in 2020 and 2023, to this year's ring ceremony.

This year's championship ring has  529 diamonds and 38 rubies, per the Chiefs.
