An adorable toddler has tragically died after falling from a hotel window in South Dakota

Madden Hein, 1, fell from a third floor window at the Club House Hotel & Suites in Sioux Falls on April 13 at about 9am, according to police.

The boy, from Minnesota, was staying at the hotel with his parents and was taken to a local hospital after the fall.

'It is with heavy hearts to say that our sweet baby boy Madden gained his angel wings late on April 15th,' she wrote.

'We miss him so much and we are having a hard time processing this all.'
