Hundreds of Colombian fans crash gate as absolute CHAOS breaks out before Copa America final against Argentina in Miami

Hundreds of Colombian fans have breached the gates at Hard Rock Stadium before Sunday’s Copa America Final against Argentina.

Multiple videos have surfaced on social media showing scores of fans in yellow Colombian jerseys forcing open iron gates and running onto the stadium grounds. It’s unclear if these fans have tickets or if they’re simply gate crashers.

Sunday’s highly anticipated final featuring Argentina’s Lionel Messi is expected to be a sellout.

The situation was eerily similar to the 2020 Euro final at Wembley in 2021, when hundreds of English fans stormed the gates and were able to force their way into the stadium. 

At least one bloodied fan was apprehended by police. The man was seen on the ground with his hands cuffed behind his back as blood trickled down from his forehead.
