She revealed that her partner, Morecambe defender Farrend Rawson, had to leave for training just hours after the birth of their child

Ludlow also discussed her anxiety surrounding where her partner will move when his current deal expires

Rawson also is said to have missed his own brother's wedding due to football commitments

Ludlow also discussed the sacrifices players have to make that often requires them to be away from their families.

'Sometimes if they lose, some managers will bring the players in on a Sunday, it's normally a family day and one of their days off.

'So if you have any plans, you have to cancel them super last minute. He's missed our kids' birthdays. He trains on Christmas Day and he's missed his brother's wedding.

'This is just part of football, and it's something that I've become really used to after being with him for 10 years.'

Ludlow also revealed that her partner had been in contact with his manager just minutes after she gave birth to inform him that he would be able to train the following day.

'Footballers are entitled to paternity pay, but when you're dating a footballer, they don't want to lose their place,' she continued.

'My partner was up in training the next day. I was two hours away from home, had a new baby, was recovering from surgery and had no help.

The pair recently attended the English Football League Awards night together

'It was really emotionally quite tough. I've just given birth. I come out of the theatre. I'm just coming around from General anaesthetic and we're still in the recovery room.

'I look over and I say, Who are you talking to? Made this agreement that we were gonna tell our families together so I was fuming. I was like, Who are you talking to on the phone right now?

'It's 3 a.m. In the morning, he was on the phone to the manager to tell him that he would make training the next day.'
