Stunning new footage from the Manchester City dressing room during half-time of last season's Champions League final has emerged, with Erling Haaland, Rodri and Pep Guardiola all featuring in the emotional moment.

City wrote themselves into European football's history books last season as they became only the second-ever English team to win the Treble consisting of the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.

Having already beaten Arsenal to seal the Premier League title and edging ahead of rivals Man United in the FA Cup showpiece, City turned their attention to Europe's top club competition where Inter Milan awaited in the final.

For all of Guardiola's great achievements in the game, winning the Champions League with City was always viewed as the 'one that got away' with his previous attempts falling short - most notably the 2021 final against Chelsea - but this time there was no mistake as the English giants secured a first-ever European title.

Rodri's 68th-minute strike eventually settled the tie, but there were nerves within City's camp as they went in at the midway point in the match with the game still goalless.

City's star striker Haaland is one of the most vocal individual's in the changing room as the 23-year-old's leadership qualities shine through despite it at the time being only his first season at the club.

The Norwegian superstar attempts to rallies his team-mates by stating: 'We're gonna have this, we are going to win. Don't think boys it's 0-0, don't think. No worries.'

Other members of City's squad cut more frustrated and concerned figures with Phil Foden seen pondering his thoughts, Rodri cutting an exasperated figure and Guardiola rapidly going through second half tactics with his coaching team.

The preview clip cut shorts before Guardiola delivers what is sure to be an impassioned half-time team talk, but the legendary manager does discuss the emotions of the occasion.

'Of course emotion is so important in the finals. The big personalities. The characters.

'But it's how you approach the moment at half-time, how you overcome, how well you overcome. He's not perfect first half because it happens.

'These people are human beings. They have the desire to do well, to achieve it, to win it, to lift it,' he added.

The tense half time exchange clearly worked wonders as City produced an improved second half performance that fired them to victory inside 90 minutes.

City are now attempting to seal an incredible second consecutive Treble with top honours still up for grabs in the remaining three competitions of the season.
