Footy fans were left collectively stunned after an incident involving Brisbane Lions star Cameron Rayner against Port Adelaide on Saturday at the Adelaide Oval.
The Lions booted a dozen consecutive goals in their highest ever score against Port, winning 23.14 (152) to 10.13 (73) at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
But it was a moment in the third quarter that had commentators stunned, when Brisbane were awarded a controversial 50 metre free kick despite the puzzled Port Adelaide defender appearing to do nothing at all.
Rayner, 24, lost control of the ball midway through the third quarter and as he attempted to regain the Sherrin, headbutted Port Adelaide's Willem Drem who was simply standing his ground.
Incredibly, Rayner was then awarded the 50 metre free kick from the on-field umpire.

'He's headbutted him! He's charged into him with his head!',' stunned Hawks champion Dermott Brereton said in commentary.
'How can an umpire pay that as a free kick? That's a feel sorry free kick,' he continued as the ensuing goal was kicked.
'That's a ridiculous free kick. He ran into him, head first. [Port Adelaide's Willem] Drew didn't even move.
'Nothing is going right for Port at all.'
Rayner's questionable freekick capped off a day to forget for Ken Hinkley's men, whose premiership aspirations have now been called into question.
The thumping 79-point win comes as the perfect time for Brisbane, who are on the rise following a slow start to the reason.

Port, who lost x-factor Willie Rioli (calf) pre-match, meekly folded when the Lions charged and couldn't score a goal for about 45 minutes.
Vice-captain Zak Butters (35 touches, eight clearances) and skipper Connor Rozee (28 possessions) found few effective allies in the Power's fourth defeat in seven games.
Forward Mitch Georgiades kicked three goals as Port crashed to an unwanted record: their previous heaviest loss to the Lions was 69 points in 2006.
Port Adelaide next week face St Kilda at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.
