J.J. Watt defended Zach Wilson on Sunday after an attempted juke move vs. the Texans went wrong.
The Jets quarterback scrambled out of the pocket and tried to get past Desmond King II, but slipped and fell on the MetLife Stadium turf as he tried to wrongfoot the cornerback.
The play earned Wilson at least one detractor, as football analyst Warren Sharp posted a video of the snafu, sarcastically writing, 'Zach Wilson shake & bake.'
Watt was quick to call Sharp out, as he replied on X, 'It’s pouring rain, that field is notoriously suspect and he slipped trying to make a move...
'But go ahead and dunk on the kid (who also has his team winning 14-0).'

To Watt's point, MetLife Stadium's playing turf has been a frequent target of criticism for players, many of whom find the surface to be too slippery.
The site has played host to a notable amount of non-contact injuries in recent years.
Wilson's failed juke wasn't his only mistake as a runner on Sunday, as he fumbled after a 10-yard gain in the third quarter.
However, Wilson did top 300 passing yards in the game.
