Jack Grealish comes close to falling off Man City's Premier League title parade bus TWICE… as Pep Guardiola enjoys a cigar and Phil Foden swigs champagne

Jack Grealish was spared of an unfortunate disaster as he was saved from falling off the top of Manchester City's open-top bus for their parade on Sunday afternoon.

City's players and staff were in the party spirit as they celebrated their fourth consecutive Premier League title during a parade around the city.

Pep Guardiola's side had to wait until the final day of the Premier League campaign to seal retain the title, after being chased by rivals Arsenal throughout the season.

Similarly to last year, there were some wild scenes up north as Guardiola and his side paraded the title upon an open-top bus adorned in the club's colours.

Grealish was the star of the show last year, as he partook in a three-day bender leading up to the title parade before taking an iconic photo atop the bus.

However, shortly afterwards, Grealish nearly fell off again as he sang along with supporters

This time, it was fellow winger Jeremy Doku who stuck out an arm to grab the 28-year-old

Meanwhile, manager Pep Guardiola, in traditional fashion, opted to celebrate with a cigar

This year, however, Grealish nearly had a disaster as he came dangerously close to falling off the top of the bus on two separate occasions.

In a clip that appeared on X, Grealish was seen dancing with his hands in the air before the City bus continued the move forward and, thus, nearly throwing him off.

Luckily, fellow winger Jeremy Doku was on hand to catch the England international and guide him to safety at the top of the bus.

However, shortly afterwards, another video appeared on X which, once again, showed Grealish nearly falling off the top.

In this clip, which was taken from a fan's perspective on the street, Grealish stood alongside Rodri at the top of the bus, as they sung along with fans.

But, as the bus set off, both players were jolted forward but, luckily, Spanish midfielder Rodri stuck an arm across Grealish to prevent him falling.

The likes of Phil Foden, Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne were also seen enjoying the festivities on the day - with the England star taking a moment to reflect on their 'special season'.

Foden said: 'It’s been a special season. Nobody has done it before, it’s an unbelievable season. It’s the hunger inside me. We’ve got great players, we want to win more next season.'

As well as their league title, City also displayed the Club World Cup and Super Cup trophies

Meanwhile, Norwegian talisman Haaland said: 'It’s been lovely, this club is amazing, I’m so proud of everyone.

'There have been many good moments. When we knew we were gonna win the league, that was the best one. The support we get home and away is unbelievable.'

Even Guardiola got on the microphone on the day, as he said: 'We are (happy). Its a big achievement, that’s why we are here again.

'Not even myself could expect to stay eight years. Everything goes well. It (winning) looks like a routine but it is not a routine. We will be back. Next season we will take the FA Cup'.

As well as their Premier League title, City also showed off their Club World Cup title and their UEFA Super Cup title - which were claimed earlier in the campaign.

Many had expected City to also claim the FA Cup title however, on Saturday afternoon, they were beaten 2-1 by rivals Man United in the final at Wembley.

However, the defeat just one day before their title parade clearly didn't dampen spirits as the players and staff partied away on the bus.

Guardiola was seen with his trademark celebratory cigar - which he's tended to do ever since claiming the first of their four consecutive league titles.

Meanwhile, the likes of Foden and Spanish midfielder Rodri were seen dancing away and drinking heavily as they enjoyed the celebrations.

Thousands of City supporters lined the streets in Manchester, despite the rain on the day, to cheer on the squad and witness the parade in person.

Some supporters were even seen climbing upon scaffolding across the city centre, as they looked to reach a vantage point to watch the parade unfold.

Pep Guardiola and the squad departed from Cathedral Gardens by the National Football Museum at 7:30pm before travelling through Exchange Square and down Deansgate with the parade due to finish outside the Hilton Hotel at around 9pm.
