After her husband suffered a high-ankle sprain on Monday night, the wife of Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, Marissa Lawrence, shared a screen grab of her Instagram direct messages flowing with positivity.
'Really overwhelmed by people's kindness and love,' Marissa said in a comment attached to the video reel of direct messages.
'Just wanted to share something positive and thank everyone truly for your prayers and support,' Marissa continued. 'Grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing people.'
Despite the hateful stigmas associated with social media, including Marissa Lawrence herself calling out a fan on Instagram last month, she shared a video with dozens of well wishes for her husband.
Lawrence's high-ankle sprain has an injury designation of 'week-to-week' after he exited the game against the Cincinnati Bengals with the ailment and didn't return.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence suffered a high-ankle sprain on Monday
At first glance, Lawrence's injury appeared much worse than possibly missing a few weeks.
Lawrence's body language after getting stepped on by his own teammate and his ankle bending was similar to New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers when he tore his Achilles on September 11. Rodgers hasn't played since.
The Jaguars next game is Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, with Lawrence unlikely to play.
A week later comes another prime time game for Jacksonville against the Baltimore Ravens.
Lawrence's return to the field is more likely on December 24 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with three games left in the regular season.
As Lawrence went down in pain on Monday night, Jaguars' fans likely would've taken their franchise quarterback being healthy by the postseason.
Now, that appears to be the case, unlike the several other Week 1 starting quarterbacks who are out for the season.
And that was reflected in the positivity in Marissa Lawrence's direct messages.
