Jadon Sancho has delivered a touching farewell message Marco Reus as the Borussia Dortmund legend prepares to leave the club after a 12-year spell.
The 35-year-old announced that he would be leaving the Bundesliga side back in May and it appears he has been in talks over a move to the MLS.
During his career at the Signal Iduna Park, Reus would establish himself as one of the most revered attacking midfielders in European football, scoring 170 goals across 429 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund.
Yet, Reus was unable to give himself the fairytale send-off that he perhaps would have liked, with Dortmund succumbing to a 2-0 defeat by Real Madrid in the Champions League final at the beginning of June.
With Reus now set to leave the club, his team-mate, Sancho, has now paid tribute to the departing midfielder, posting a video on Instagram along with a touching message to the Dortmund midfielder, calling him his 'big brother' while thanking him for acting as his mentor.

'Farewell to a BVB Legend and My Big Brother @marcinho11 as you start your next chapter,' the Man United loanee wrote on Instagram.
'I just want to say thank you for everything you’ve done for me.
'You took me under your wing and I learned so much from you both on and off the pitch.
'I am forever grateful for everything you taught me and it was an honour to play with you.
'I wish you and your family all the best for the future, see you soon brother!'
The caption accompanied a video montage of clips showing Sancho and Reus setting each other up as well as several videos of the pair hugging and celebrating scoring.
The clip begins with Sancho speaking in an interview: 'Ever since I have come back, I've felt like I'm at home.
Speaking on setting up Reus during a match, he adds: 'I feel like it was just meant to be coming back and seeing Marco again. He's a great friend of mine. I just appreciate him - happy to set up his goal today.'

Sancho, who first moved to Borussia Dortmund in 2021, before returning on loan from Man United in January 2024, has formed an excellent partnership with Reus.
The pair have played together in 109 matches and have a goal participation of 24.
The Englishman will now also have to make a decision on his future at Dortmund, with his loan deal set to expire this summer meaning he will return to Man United if he does not agree an extension to stay in Germany.
