Jadon Sancho will be a key part of Borussia Dortmund's bid to upset Real Madrid to claim Champions League glory, but believes their opponents have two contenders for this year's Ballon d'Or.

Dortmund and Real Madrid will line-up at Wembley on Saturday evening in the biggest game in club football.

The Spanish giants head into the match bidding to claim a record extending 15th title, while Dortmund are hoping to lift the Champions League for the first time since 1997.

Sancho, who joined Dortmund on loan in January from Man United, highlighted two Real Madrid stars during an interview with CNN.

The 24-year-old named checked Vinicius Jnr and his former Dortmund team-mate Jude Bellingham as being among his four best players in the world.

Sancho believes former Dortmund team-mate Jude Bellingham could win the Ballon d'Or

The winger claimed Bellingham could be battling Vinicius Junior to secure the gong this year

Sancho also included Kylian Mbappe, who is expected to join Real Madrid this summer, as well as England captain Harry Kane.

‘Vinicius, Bellingham, Mbappe and I would say Harry Kane,’ Sancho said when asked who are the currently the best players in the world.

‘Harry Kane due to the goals he has scored, I think if he did win trophies this year he would definitely have won the Ballon d’Or.

‘Vinicus and Jude are both fighting right now on who can win it – obviously they are close friends I’m not saying they are fighting – but they could win it.

‘Mbappe has had an excellent season, everyone knows he gives goals, assists, he is a threat to any team in the world.’

He admitted the prospect of Real Madrid signing France superstar Kylian Mbappe is 'scary'

Bellingham has scored 23 goals and provided 12 assists in his debut season at Real Madrid since completing a £113m move from Dortmund last year.

Vinicius has matched Bellingham’s goal tally in all competitions but provided one less assist, with the duo key to helping Carlo Ancelotti’s side win La Liga and reach the Champions League final.

The prospect of Real Madrid adding Mbappe to their forward line was labelled as a ‘scary’ prospect by Sancho, with the French superstar having scored 44 goals in 48 matches in his final season at PSG.

Kane matched Mbappe’s goal tally for the season at Bayern Munich, despite the German giants missing out on silverware.
