As if Trevor Lawrence getting hurt late in the Jaguars' game against Cincinnati on Monday night was not painful enough, fans were outraged at a perceived lack of care shown towards Jacksonville's franchise quarterback.
After suffering an ankle injury in the fourth quarter, Lawrence was forced to walk through the tunnel with assistance rather than getting carted to avoid putting weight on the compromised lower leg.
Fans expressed their frustration with the absence of urgency on social media.
'No, cause this is ridiculous,' one fan wrote on X. 'They needed to get Trevor Lawrence a cart instead of making him walk all the way.'
'What the hell, man,' another added. 'We can't get a freaking cart for Trevor Lawrence? He's gotta walk 8 miles to the locker room?'

Lawrence suffered a sprained ankle after getting stepped on by his teammate Walker Little
'The shot of him hobbling through the tunnel is painful,' a third fan commented.
A fourth fan complained by saying 'they are at home and this is the best they could do?'
The game was tied at 28 with under six minutes remaining when Lawrence suffered the injury courtesy of his own teammate.
Offensive tackle Walker Little blindly stepped on Lawrence's right ankle as he tried to shield him from Cincinnati's Trey Hendrickson. Lawrence immediately fell to the ground and held onto his leg as Hendrickson fell on top of him. Bengals defensive tackle BJ Hill also dove on top of Lawrence to try and collect the ball.
Lawrence was visibly frustrated knowing he got hurt but attempted to get up from the turf. After taking three steps, Lawrence was once again on his hands and knees. Unable to stand, Lawrence punched the ground and threw his helmet away before getting assisted off the field.
