Jake Paul may no longer be fighting Mike Tyson on Saturday in a main-event boxing match, but that does not mean there will not be any fireworks with his new opponent, Mike Perry.

During Friday's pre-fight faceoff, Paul and Perry had the traditional stare down with plenty of trash talk between the two. Talk nearly turned into fists flying.

Perry put his hands on Paul first, with Paul getting a much stronger shove off to Perry, sending him back.

Security for the fighters were surrounding both men, quickly putting themselves in between the combatants before the physicality ramped up.

It took several members of security to hold Perry back from getting a chance to swing on Paul before the fight officially began.

Paul pumped up the crowd after shoving Mike Perry, forcing security to intervene

While security held back Perry, Paul pumped up the crowd and looked happy with himself.

'He light. He flew like six feet,' Paul said after the confrontation.

Paul also claimed UFC President Dana White would give Perry a contract if he knocks him out in the fight.

'You can rip up the f****n contract because I'm going to f*** up Mike Perry,' Paul said. 'Anyone you send at me, anyone of your MMA fighters is getting f****d up. They been trying to assassinate me.'

'They don't want me in this sport,' Paul continued. 'They hate that I run this sport. But when you try to assassinate a guy like me, it only makes me bigger. I'm on a mission from God.'

Perry is also using the publicity of being Mike Tyson's replacement to promote himself and his new promotion, Dirty Boxing Championship, which will be  a combination of Muay Thai, boxing, and MMA.

Paul has fought Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Nate Diaz, and Anderson Silva, all of whom have UFC backgrounds and holds a 9-1 professional record.
