Jamie Carragher revealed he was seriously hungover after drinking pints alongside Borussia Dortmund fans in the German club's famous 'Yellow Wall' for last week's Champions League semi-final first-leg win over Borussia Dortmund and laughed off criticism following his drunk post-match interview with Jadon Sancho.
The Liverpool legend enjoyed a true fan experience as he was sent into the stands by American broadcaster CBS for the European knockout clash at the Signal Iduna Park and fell in love with the German club.
Dortmund enjoyed another night of celebration on Tuesday as they beat PSG at the Parc des Princes to qualify for the Champions League final, with Carragher delighted at the club's progression.
His time in Germany saw Carragher drink 'eight pints' throughout the course of the evening and eventful post-match interviews saw him treat Sancho like a close friend, while PSG manager Luis Enrique refused to do an interview with him.
46-year-old Carragher might have had a tinge of regret when he woke up the next morning after telling Kate Abdo and Thierry Henry that he was 'hungover', but beamed as he looked back fondly on his experience.

More surprisingly is the revelation made by Carragher that he has never sat amongst Liverpool fans in Anfield's famous Kop end after he joined in singing the anthem with Dortmund supporters.
Speaking on Tuesday's CBS show, Carragher said: [I was] Hungover. But I loved it, it was on the bucket list I said that going to Borussia Dortmund as a football fan.
'I have never actually been on the Kop and sang You'll never walk alone but have now done it in the Yellow Wall.
'To sing You'll Never Walk Alone and be in their with my new family and friends was something I'll never forget. It was brilliant, I absolutely loved it.
'When I go next time I am going exactly there, I know where it is and those people are there week after week. Kaiser and Kaiser,' he added.
Carragher has become an adopted Dortmund supporter after his stint amongst the club's incredible fanbase, however others were not so impressed as co-presenter and Man United legend Peter Schmeichel claimed the former England international 'upset every person' in the tunnel.

The Liverpool icon laughed off suggestions that people had complained about him, continuing: 'There was no complaints was there?.'
CBS host Abdo, who has previously enjoyed a fair share of on-air clashes with Carragher, suggested he should become the broadcaster's new roving reporter, but he insisted he would only do it for big games.
'Big semi-finals yeh I will do that. Knockout stages in big atmospheres getting in there with the crowd,' he said.
Carragher later teased Dortmund fans that he will be with them at their Champions League final clash against either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid, tweeting on Monday evening: 'See you at Wembley BVB'.
