The home of a police constable has been searched as part of major investigation into the disappearance of former Channel 10 presenter Jesse Baird and his Qantas flight attendance boyfriend Luke Davies.
Detectives arrived at the sandstone home on Waite Avenue in Balmain, in Sydney's Inner West, at about 11.30pm on Thursday night.
A number of items were removed from the single-storey home in evidence bags, with a nearby laneway also taped off by detectives.
The home belongs to the parents of NSW Police officer Beau Lamarre, who police are currently searching for as part of their investigation into the missing couple.
It's understood Constable Lamarre, who is reportedly on sick leave, may be able to assist police with their enquiries.
Police are also searching for a white van they believe is being driven by Mr Lamarre after it was captured in vision from a neighbours property on Monday night.

It's understood Constable Lamarre, a former partner of missing former TV host Jesse Baird, may be able to assist police with their inquiries
In footage captured by a neighbours property, the couple are seen walking around a corner near Mr Baird's terrace property before stopping to sit on a bench.
The white van is seen passing the couple just moments later, after it was captured mounting a curb as it headed towards Cooper Street, a no-through road.
Neither Mr Baird, 26, or Mr Davies, 29, have been seen or heard from since Monday night, after neighbours heard arguing coming from the Paddington home.
It comes as its revealed Mr Baird's WhatsApp account was active as late as Tuesday night, however it remains unclear who was using the phone at the time.
The hunt for the missing pair was sparked after bloodied clothes, credit cards, keys, an $8,000 watch and a mobile phone were found dumped in a skip at Club Cronulla, in Sydney's south, on Wednesday.
Police were then led to Mr Baird's blood-spattered Paddington home 30km away, which has been declared a crime scene.
On February 18, just days before their disappearance, Mr Baird posted pictures of the pair together at Pink's concert in Sydney two weeks ago.
Another photo of the pair taken at the lighthouse at Palm Beach earlier in February reads: 'Perfect start to a long weekend'.

Neither Mr Baird (left) or Mr Davies (right) has contacted loved ones since Monday night and neither have touched their bank accounts
Friends of the former TV presenter have told police that he recently expressed concerns that he was being stalked by another man.
Constable Lamarre first joined NSW Police 2019, with his mother a former senior officer within the force.
'Detectives are looking at a line of inquiry that a third person may be able to assist with the investigation,' a police statement said on Wednesday.
'Police are currently trying to locate him. Detectives will continue to look at all past relationships and associations.'
Just a year into the job, a video emerged of him tasering a man in the face during a dramatic arrest in Darlinghurst went viral. He was later cleared by an internal investigation of any wrongdoing.
CCTV footage of the couple's last known whereabouts on Monday night show the men wandering outside Mr Baird's Paddington home before heading towards the back of a terrace. Neither have been seen since.
Mr Baird is also an AFL goal umpire who had been asked to officiate a practice match between the Sydney Swans and Greater Western Sydney Giants game on Thursday.
The AFL confirmed that it contacted his family on Thursday after Mr Baird failed to show up to officiate the match.
Mr Davies home in Waterloo, in Sydney's inner-south, was also found to be empty.
