Joe Cole has claimed that one Manchester City star is better than Premier League legends including Frank Lampard, Paul Scholes and Steven Gerrard.
City won 4-2 away to Crystal Palace on Saturday to boos their chances of winning the Premier League title.
Following their victory, City are second in the table and are level on points with leaders Liverpool, although Pep Guardiola's side have played a game more.
Cole was especially impressed with the performance of one player as City secured all three points.

According to Cole, the City star is also better than Paul Scholes (L) and Steven Gerrard (R)
The former Chelsea player believes that Kevin De Bruyne is better than the likes of Lampard, Scholes and Gerrard were.
De Bruyne scored twice, including a superb equaliser, as he helped City to secure victory.
Speaking on TNT Sports, Cole said: 'I think he sits above everyone. I really do. And I include Frank, and Scholesy and Stevie and everyone.
'I think he's I think he's moving up and they are great players of their time and it's always difficult to compare eras because the game the rules change the pitch has changed the ball has changed, the training methods, everything changes, but he's certainly the best of this era and he's just outstanding.'
De Bruyne has won an array of trophies during his time at City and has played a pivotal part in the club's success under Pep Guardiola.
In total, De Bruyne has won five league titles, the Champions League, two FA Cups, and five League Cups.
Lampard, Scholes and Gerrard became club legends at Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool respectively, with De Bruyne having secured the same status at City.
The Belgium international is known for his ability to create chances with regularity, but he is also capable of weighing in with significant goals himself.

De Bruyne will hope to help City conclude the campaign strongly as they aim to win the treble again.
Commenting on De Bruyne's first goal against Palace, Cole described the strike as 'beautiful'. He also described the 32-year-old as the godfather of attacking midfielders.
He said: 'The quality it takes to hit it coming across with your weak foot coming across, and he has a little stride in it and slows himself down. The decision and then just the straight leg just to put it in like that, that just sort of a tad of violence there.
'It's beautiful. I mean, he is the godfather of attacking midfielders in world football I still think he's the best at the bunch.'
