ABC Sports announcer Mike Breen quickly apologized on-air during last night's NBA Finals Game 5 for misidentifying a woman as the wife of Boston Celtics star Jrue Holiday.
In a stoppage with 4:39 left in the game, the cameras cut to a blonde woman in the stands with what looked like a credential around her neck.
It came as Doris Burke was discussing Holiday and his wife, Lauren, which led Breen to making the error.
'So 4:39 remaining... and there's his wife,' Breen said on air before tossing to some sound from players on the Celtics bench.
When the broadcast came back from that sound, Breen corrected his mistake while Jayson Tatum was shooting free throws.

'We want to make a quick correction and apologies, that was not Jrue Holiday's wife,' Breen said.
It's not clear who the woman who was misidentified on the broadcast was.
While Jrue locked up his second NBA championship last night, Lauren Holiday is a multi-time champion of her own in soccer.
She's the proud owner of two Olympic gold medals from when she was on the US women's national team at the 2008 games in Beijing and the 2012 games in London.
Holiday was also on the USWNT when they won the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup - avenging a loss from the tournament prior by defeating Japan in the Final.
Over the course of her club career, Holiday played for teams like Pali Blues, the Boston Breakers, and FC Kansas City.
As for Jrue, after winning an NBA title with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021, he was traded to Boston this season and locked up his second championship with the Celtics after they beat the Dallas Mavericks in five games.

Jrue and Lauren both met while they were going to school at UCLA back in 2008.
They were married in 2013 and they have two children together: a daughter named Jrue Tyler and a son named Hendrix.
Lauren was previously diagnosed with a brain tumor, which was removed thanks to a successful brain surgery back in 2016.
