Jurgen Klopp's life after Liverpool is underway and his new chapter will start with watching his former side Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.

The now former Liverpool manager's nine-year spell at the Reds drew to a close at an emotionally-charged but celebratory Anfield, on Sunday, and now the 56-year-old's life away from management is afoot.

Life away from the United Kingdom appears to be on the horizon, with a trip to Mallorca seemingly in store for Klopp and his family.

However, it seems he won't be travelling too far in his early days away from Liverpool.

According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund chief executive officer, Hans-Joachim Watzke, has invited Klopp, and his family, to watch his former side take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final at Wembley, on Saturday 1 June.

Klopp, 56, managed Dortmund for seven years and guided them to back-to-back Bundesliga titles in 2011 and 2012

Speaking to the German outlet, Watzke said:  'Jurgen has done absolutely outstanding things, in Mainz, in Dortmund and in Liverpool.'

'As his friend, I hope that he gets some distance, completely regenerates and spends a wonderful time with Ulla, his children and grandchildren.'

Just like at Liverpool, Klopp has a special relationship with BVB after spending seven years in the dugout at Signal Iduna Park.

The German guided Dortmund back-to-back Bundesliga titles in 2011 and 2012, and also won the German Cup during his time there.

He also led them to a Champions League final in 2013, and just like this year, it was held at Wembley. However, they just feel short, losing 2-1 to bitter rivals Bayern Munich.

The German side now have the chance banish the bad memory of 11 years ago in under two weeks time when they face Los Blancos, and Klopp will be cheering them on in attendance.

Klopp went on to leave Dortmund in 2015, in a similar fashion to how he left the Reds with a huge send-off.

On Sunday, Klopp waved goodbye to the Anfield faithful for the final time, leaving the club after a nine-year trophy-laden spell.

Following the full-time whistle of their 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, the 56-year-old gave an emotional speech to the Reds fans where he showed his undying appreciataion for their support during his time at the club before sailing off into the sunset.

Klopp will be succeeded by Arne Slot, who the German himself started a chant for in his farewell speech, after the club announced the Dutchman as their new head coach on Monday.

The Klopp family is in the process of building a £3.4million villa in Mallorca as well as a new home in Germany

After nine years living in Merseyside, Klopp, and his wife Ulla, will be returning to Germany, the Sonnenberg district of Wiesbaden to be exact, where he has a new villa.

The Klopp family will soon also have a £3.4million villa in Mallorca, as construction finishes what is being described as 'an ecological family paradise'.

The stunning villa has been made into a low-energy house, as reported by Bild, where the heating and air conditioning systems are interconnected.
