Jurgen Klopp has revealed how long away it will be for Alisson Becker to return to action for Liverpool.

The Brazilian goalkeeper has been out of action with a hamstring injury since their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on February 4.

Liverpool's second-choice goalkeeper, Caoimhin Kelleher, has performed admirably in Alisson's absence, with the Reds winning the Carabao Cup and not losing a single match in that time.

However, with the Reds locked in a fierce battle for the title, supporters are keen for their No 1 to return to the pitch.

Some lucky Liverpool fans were able to speak to Klopp during a tour of their AXA Training Centre in Kirkby, and was able to ask the German how long it will be until Allison makes his comeback.

Jurgen Klopp provided Liverpool fans who were on a tour of their training ground with an update on when goalkeeper Alisson will be back in action

Sounds like a flex but genuinely spoke to Jurgen today🤣, been on a AXA tour. Jota was training on his own. He said Ali is 2 1/2 - 3 weeks away. Said Trent is still injured but not far off. Matip was also back out running in his own. pic.twitter.com/eQyEWTjkUp

When asked by one supporter 'how's Alisson?' the German responded: 'Two and a half to three weeks. It's not that long anymore.'

If Alisson misses three weeks, then he will miss games against Brighton, Sheffield United, Manchester United, Atalanta and Crystal Palace.

Liam Whittle who shared the video, also revealed that Klopp gave updates on Diogo Jota, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip.

He wrote: 'Sounds like a flex but genuinely spoke to Jurgen today, been on a AXA tour.

'Jota was training on his own. He said Ali is 2 1/2 - 3 weeks away. Said Trent is still injured but not far off. Matip was also back out running on his own.'

Klopp told the media earlier this month that Alexander-Arnold and Jota could be back the week following the international break.

The update from the Liverpool supporter suggests that this weekend's game against Brighton could be too soon for the pair.

Jota injured his knee in the 4-1 victory away at Brentford in February, while Alexander-Arnold has also been suffering with a knee issue and last played in their 3-1 win over Burnley.

The fan said that Klopp revealed Trent Alexander-Arnold is still injured but 'not far off' while Diogo Jota is training on his own

Joel Matip is also training on his own but is unlikely to play again for Liverpool this season

Matip has been out with a cruciate ligament tear since December and it was deemed unlikely that he would play again this season, with the Cameroonian looking likely to leave Anfield at the end of his contract this summer.

In the video shared on Twitter, the fan also cheekily asked Klopp if they're 'ready for the Treble?'

The question brought out a laugh from Klopp, who responded: 'Of course.'

Liverpool are only behind Arsenal on goal difference in the Premier League, while they are also in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
