Juventus retain an interest in Jadon Sancho as Manchester United look to cut their losses this summer.
The England international winger is available for a knockdown price of around £40million following his season on loan with Borussia Dortmund.
The Champions League finalists would like to re-sign the 24-year-old but the chances of a permanent deal are regarded as 'slim' owing to their current transfer budget and other priority targets.
Dortmund want to sign Ian Maatsen on a permanent deal from Chelsea for around £25m, below his release clause, and have designs on signing striker Serhou Guirassy for £17.5m from Stuttgart.
Sancho joined United from Dortmund for £73m in 2021 but has struggled to settle into his rhythm under different coaches there and fell out with manager Erik ten Hag after being criticised for his approach to training.

United are looking to raise transfer funds this summer to strengthen their defence and the spine of their side. They also plan to sell striker Mason Greenwood and will consider offers for other squad players.
United have had approaches from a number of teams showing interest in Sancho, notably from Germany and Italy, but the fact remains whether they can meet the financial demands of such a deal.
Juventus are currently in negotiations with Aston Villa over a deal for their £60m-rated midfielder Douglas Luiz with Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling-Junior being offered in return plus £17m.

United do hold an interest in Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee, who is discussing a move to AC Milan, but a bid is not imminent at this stage.
Meanwhile, former United winger Omari Forson has completed his surprise move to Italian side Monza. Forson, 19, was offered a new contract by United in December and was given a first team opportunity by Ten Hag but failed to agree terms.
