Kamala Harris' heavily tattooed stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, is selling her knitted art pieces for more than $5,000 each at her exhibition in a New York City cannabis store.

Emhoff, 24, debuted her textile exhibition this week at Gotham NYC, a 'woman-owned legal cannabis concept store' on the city's Lower East Side.

The vice president's daughter is asking $5,500 for a textile of her self-portrait, featuring her bright red nose and freckles on her forehead.

Another piece, featuring two light-blue Gucci hair clips with a backdrop of red, comes with an eye-watering $4,500 price tag.

'This new art form kind of was birthed out of my knitwear, where I started kind of playing around with this duplicate stitch technique,' she told the New York Post.

Emhoff, a graduate of Parsons School of Design, said she's moving away from knitting clothes after delving into the world of wearable art for the past few years.

'I found that no one really wanted to wear all of this stuff, because it's kind of crazy and loud, but they liked looking at it. So then I just started experimenting. And now I'm here,' she said.

Despite the transition, some clothes dubbed as 'a collection of one-of-a-kind knit clothing' were still displayed for sale at the exhibition.

Knitted biker shorts are priced at $750, pants for $350, and a knitted high-neck tank top for $150. They are for 'sale exclusively' for the first time, the store emphasized.

About 400 people attended the opening reception on Thursday afternoon, many of whom were knitting hobbyists, and half were described as 'queer,' according to a Post reporter at the exhibition.

'Fiber art is having a massive resurgence right now, with lots of museum and gallery shows,' said opening night attendee Heike, 44, who added that she 'works in art.'

'I pretty much follow everyone who is relevant in art these days. I happened to be in New York today,' she added.

Emhoff, a graduate of Parsons School of Design, said she's moving away from knitting clothes after delving into the world of wearable art for the past few years. She frequently posted videos of her knitting on social media

Many attendees also posted video and photos of the exhibition on social media, as one wrote: 'have loved the evolution of her knitworks so it was a joy to support her exhibition opening tonight'.

The user added that they have been following Emhoff and her works since the pandemic.

Vegan chef Michelle, 24, said: 'Her art is f**king amazing … her stuff is gorgeous. I don't even know how she began to do this stuff. It's crazy. The different colors and the depths, it's so insane.'

Emhoff's exhibition comes a week after she sparked outrage with an Instagram post supporting the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), a group allegedly tied to Hamas terrorists in Gaza.

Rumors said the exhibition was a fundraiser for the agency, but Emhoff declined to comment on the controversy.

Emhoff, the daughter of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and stepdaughter of Harris, pursued modeling shortly after she graduated from Parsons.

The exhibition marks the turning point of her transition out of the fashion world into a career as an artist, she said.

But the 24-year-old is not the only artist with a connection to the White House, with Hunter Biden opening his art exhibition last year, which drew an eye-popping amount of money from Democratic donors.

Georges Bergès, who has been overseeing the sale of Hunter's amateur paintings, said he has 'the potential to become 'one of the most consequential artists in this century.'

Some of his paintings were listed for a whopping $500,000, but the identities of buyers and prices they actually paid were kept secret.

Bergès reportedly disclosed to investigators how much some of Hunter's top buyers shelled out - including from Democratic donors Kevin Morris, a Hollywood attorney, and Elizabeth Hirsch Naftali.

Naftali paid $42,000 in February 2021 for one of Hunter's artworks and another in December 2022 for $52,000, according to sources.

President Joe Biden appointed her to the Commission for the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad, an obscure but prestigious board in July 2022, eight months after Hunter's exhibition opened.
