The Kansas City Chiefs will follow their 2024 home opener against the Baltimore Ravens by traveling to another AFC North team just a week later.

Ahead of the full schedule release on Wednesday night, the Super Bowl champion's second game has now been revealed ahead of time.

And it has been announced that Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Co will head on the road for a tough match-up in Week 2.

They will face Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, who won the AFC North in 2021 and 2022, reaching the Super Bowl in the first of those two seasons.

Although the Bengals had a tough 2023 season and missed out on the playoffs, Burrow and Co are set to be a formidable opponent for the Chiefs - having beaten them three of the last five times they've played.

The last two, though, have ended with Chiefs victories, with Mahomes leading KC to a 25-17 victory when the teams met on New Year's Eve last season.

Cincinnati fans have used their three victories over Mahomes's Chiefs to fuel the rivalry in recent years.

More to follow.
