Klay Thompson has ripped into Tari Eason after the Rockets forward donned a t-shirt taunting Golden State, as it said 'Warriors come out to play' in Houston's 133-110 loss.

Eason, who was ruled out for the remainder of the season with a benign growth on his lower leg bone, earlier this month, showed up to Thursday night's game at Toyota Center, trolling his team's opponents, as he also posted an Instagram Story mocking the Warriors, earlier in the day.

'I know they not liking this!!!' he wrote as a caption to footage of himself belting out 'Warriors, come out to play,' on his Story.

After knocking down 29 points, including 7-of-11 3-pointers, in Houston, Thompson told reporters of the taunt: 'Yeah, that's pretty lame. Especially if you're not even playing...It's one thing if you're playing and you're out there competing, and you back it up.

'But you're just gonna be trolling from the sideline. Bro, what are we doing?'

Thompson was Golden State's joint-top scorer of the night on Thursday along with Steph Curry, as the Warriors stretched their winning streak to a season-high six games with a 23-point win against the Rockets.

Together, the 'Splash Bros' dealt a crushing blow to Houston's play-in hopes, as the Rockets (38-38) are now four games behind the Warriors (42-34) for the final Western Conference play-in spot with six games remaining in the regular season.

The Warriors, who are in 10th place in the West, never trailed and built a 15-point lead by halftime behind 21 points by Thompson. He made five 3-pointers the first half.

Thompson dropped 29 pts on the Rockets, including 7-of-11 3-pointers, to boost the Warriors' playoff hopes

They improved to 3-0 against Houston this season and have won the last 13 regular-season games against the Rockets.

Jabari Smith Jr. had 24 points to lead the Rockets, who dropped their third game in a row after winning their previous 11 games. Rookie Cam Whitmore added 17 points off the bench.

The Warriors moved to 42-34 with the win to give them a winning season for the 38th time in franchise history and the fourth in a row.
