Some Leeds supporters used the news regarding Ferrell to mock manager Daniel Farke

One fan took the opportunity to mock Leeds manager Daniel Farke. They wrote: 'Has that 'large stake' allowed him to make team selections, draw up tactics and stick rigidly to them because some comedian is definitely doing it?'.

Another supporter asked: 'Is this a late April fools joke…'.

There was further criticism of Farke as one fan wrote: Wed 'd genuinely have more chance in the playoffs if he turns up dressed as buddy the elf and manages the team than we do with Farke'.
