Detroit Lions fans were left disgusted by head coach Dan Campbell shooting a promo with WWE legend Hulk Hogan days after he spoke at the Republican National Convention.
On Thursday, a clip of the Hulkster shooting the WWE-style promo with Campbell gained virality on social media. Sporting a blue bandana, Hogan delivered the bit as he did at the peak of Hulkamania.
However, given his political affiliation, several fans made their frustration known in the comment sections on social media.
'Lost a lot of respect for Dan today,' one fan wrote. 'Hogan is a known racist. This is bad optics man.'
'If I'm any of those Detroit Lions players, come contract time: BOUNCE as quickly as possible,' said another.

'Badddddd look,' said a third. Meanwhile, a fourth wrote 'Yuck, never liked Hogan.'
The words 'ew' and 'yuck' were also repeatedly written down in reaction to the video on X.
'Yo maniacs, Hulk Hogan here, the greatest of all time,' Hogan says in the clip as Campbell stands next to him. 'My new tag team partner, Campbellmania brother is gonna run wild this year.
'Super Bowl, nothing but greatness, nothing but victory. So what are you gonna do when the Detroit Lions and Campbellmania runs wild on you, brother?'
Last season, Campbell led the Lions to their first postseason appearance since 2016 and first divisional playoff game since 1991.
