Gary Lineker caused an uproar after he labelled England's performance against Denmark as 's***'.
Gareth Southgate's men have so far failed to live up to expectations at Euro 2024 having edged out Serbia in a 1-0 win before a dismal 1-1 draw with Denmark.
The criticism from Lineker didn't go down well with Three Lions captain Kane, who underlined the fact that ex-England players, too, never won an international trophy during their careers.
Declan Rice, meanwhile, also hit back at the negative comments from former players, claiming they should instead be encouraging the current crop of England players.
Mail Sport's Craig Hope, Dominic King and Lewis Steele discussed Kane and Rice's responses to Lineker in the latest episode of the It's All Kicking Off! podcast.
Steele believes both players are 'salty' and Lineker was well within his right to make his brutal assessment of the performance.
