Gary Lineker has caused a furore by suggesting that journalists are to blame for his criticism of Harry Kane and England creating a spat with the Three Lions stars at Euro 2024

He also took a swipe in claiming that journalists are 'not brave enough to ask their own questions'.

In today's episode of It's All Kickin Off Euros Daily podcast, Mail Sport's experts hit back at Lineker's comments, pulling him up for 'overstepping the mark'.

Ian Ladyman and Oliver Holt query whether Lineker ever asks tough questions himself and accuse him of 'demonising and demeaning newspaper journalists'.

Elsewhere, the crew preview England's final group-stage clash against Slovenia and catch up with fans on the ground in Germany.

Sami Mokbel also joins the podcast to tell us who Southgate is set to play tonight. Will the England boss stick or twist?
