Cristiano Ronaldo has broken another record in lining up for Portugal against Czechia at Euro 2024, becoming the first player to appear in six Euro finals at the age of 39.

'Everyone wanted it to be about Ronaldo', Mail Sport chief sports writer Oliver Holt said post-match, but the Al-Nassr man was relatively quiet despite playing the full 90 minutes in the game.

His side won 2-1, with It's All Kicking Off! host Chris Sutton arguing that it is an 'issue' that Ronaldo appears to be in charge of the Portugal side despite Roberto Martinez being the manager.

When Portugal scored what they thought was a winner through Diogo Jota, Ronaldo seemed to celebrate on his own, raising eyebrows as the rest of the team ran to mob the Liverpool forward.

The forward also seemed to celebrate in the face of goalkeeper Jindrich Stanek, who was crestfallen on the turf, and shout something in the ear of midfielder Petr Sevcik when Francisco Conceicao scored the legit winner.

If fans weren't already questioning his role and involvement in the squad, they were after the match, with Portugal's hopes of success this summer seemingly weighing heavily on what kind of tournament Ronaldo has due to his involvement, and the It's All Kicking Off! team discussed just that on the latest episode of the show.
