Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was brought to tears after a fan presented him with a painting ahead of his exit later this month.
The German boss is nearing the end of a near nine-year spell at Liverpool after revealing he was 'running out of energy' in an emotional message to supporters announcing his departure.
In his bombshell January statement, Klopp even shared the possibility he could retire from football management altogether - but said he needed more time before making a final decision.
Liverpool fan and painter Abigail Rudkin, who specialises in football-related pieces, made a painting to commemorate his spell as manager.
She spent two months working on the piece, which features the words 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and 'Danke Jurgen', and on Thursday visited Liverpool's training ground to hand it to Klopp.
Today was the best day ever 🥹
After years of painting Jurgen, I finally got to show him my work❤️
He said “we need to get a video! Let’s do a video”. I was in utter shock.
The nicest person I’ve ever met. Hopefully he hasn’t seen the last of me yet🫶 pic.twitter.com/cnfclYpFKb

The Reds boss was left overwhelmed, saying: 'I love it. When I saw. it, I had tears in my eyes
'I don't have a lot of skills but I see a talent when I meet it. Abigail, you are obviously a real talent and I wish you all the best.'
Klopp said he had informed the club of his decision to step down in November - and that he revealed it while discussing transfer targets for next summer.
'When we sat there together talking about potential signings, the next summer camp and can we go wherever, the thought came up, 'I am not sure I am here then anymore' and I was surprised myself by that,' he said.
He will have a bittersweet ending to his spell with Liverpool set to miss out on the Premier League title this season after a run of poor form in recent weeks.
The Merseyside did however pick up silverware earlier this year after beating. Chelsea to the Carabao Cup.
They will seek to end the season on a high starting with the visit of Tottenham this weekend.
