Liverpool defender Calvin Ramsay has joined Wigan Athletic on a season loan.
The 20-year old right-back joined Liverpool from Aberdeen for £4.2m in 2022 but injuries hindered his start and he has had spells on loan with Preston North End and Bolton Wanderers.
He joined Preston last June but saw his appearances limited to just two before being recalled by Liverpool in January.
Ramsay was then sent out to Bolton but his minutes continued to be limited as he played three matches for the Trotters, who missed out on promotion to the Championship after losing to Oxford in the League One play-off final.

'I am over the moon. It happened quickly and I met the manager (Shaun Maloney) two weeks ago.
'I had a really good conversation, and there was an instant connection. I'm excited for the start of the season.
'When I was driving to the training ground, there was a real excitement, and I am hungry to get going and show everyone what I can do.
'It's a good opportunity at a good club, and I am raring to go.'
Ramsay is Wigan's second summer signing after Michael Olakigbe joined on loan from Brentford.
