Dominik Szoboszlai slotted a brace including a brilliant solo wondergoal to help Hungary beat Montenegro 3-1 in their Euro 2024 qualifier.
Hungary had already qualified for the tournament thanks to their 2-2 draw with Bulgaria on Thursday, but still managed to come back from behind in this game courtesy of Szoboszlai.
Liverpool signed the energetic number eight from RB Leipzig for £60m, and he has quickly become a fan favourite for his relentless running and ability to score excellent goals from midfield.
And Szoboszlai was forced to do just that during his the game Sunday after Aberdeen defender Slobodan Rubezic put Montenegro into a surprising lead ten minutes before halftime.
The Hungary captain stepped up swiftly and smashed an excellent brace home to gain the lead before Adam Nagy put the cherry on the cake deep into extra time.

It was Szoboszlai's first goal that really caught the eye, with the Reds midfielder picking up the ball on the right side of the pitch.
The 23-year-old drove at the Montenegro defence before nutmegging one and skipping past another in the box.
He then drilled home the finish past goalkeeper Milan Mijatovic to square the game at 1-1.
Just two minutes later Szoboszlai grabbed his second, playing a wonderful give and go with Nagy before sliding the ball home.
Fans were quick to react to the first wondergoal on social media, with many hailing the ability of Hungarian football's golden boy.
One account said 'what a stunner of a goal!' while another inisisted 'Goodness gracious me, what an incredible player.'
Liverpool fans also reacted, with one inisisting the club had 'found a GEM' while another said 'big fan of this guy, top player in the making'
The result ensured Hungary finish top of Group G, ahead of Serbia, and will head into next years Euros full of confidence.
