Liverpool fans have expressed their frustration at an Alisson statistic which emerged after the Reds were knocked out of the Europa League.

Despite winning 1-0 against Atalanta in the second leg of their quarter-final tie courtesy of a Mohamed Salah penalty, Liverpool were beaten 3-1 on aggregate.

The disappointment for Liverpool fans was intensified when they found out about Alisson's role in the tie.

The statistic showed that the goalkeeper had the second highest amount of touches - 105 - out of the Liverpool team in the second leg, behind defender Ibrahima Konate on 106.

That infuriated Liverpool fans, who were unhappy with the lack of attacking intent that their side showed.
