Spurs continue European chase
It's all smiles at Anfield but Ange Postecoglou will know just how crucial a result is today for his team.
Spurs currently sit eight points behind Aston Villa in the race for European football as we approach the end of the campaign.
Today's clash marks one of the two games today's visitors have in hand over their European football, and the opportunity to reduce the defecit two just two points with back-to-back wins will no doubt be on the Australian's mind.

Tottenham Team News - Ange makes one change from defeat to Chelsea
Ange Postecoglou has made just one change from the team that were defeated by Chelsea in midweek, with Rodrigo Bentacur replacing Richarlison.
Meanwhile James Maddison has again been named on the bench as he looks for an opportunity to recapture the form that saw him so instrumental in Spurs' early season success.
Liverpool Team News - Mo Salah RETURNS to the starting XI
Mo Salah has returned to the starting XI after the being named on the bench for the club's 2-2 draw with West Ham.
After being called on to replace Luis Diaz in the closing stages of that game, Salah engaged in a highly-publicised on-field spat with Jurgen Klopp.
However, despite the fall out, Salah returns to his more familiar place in the team, with Ryan Gravenberch dropping to the bench marking the only change from that game.
Conor Bradley is also back in the match day squad after recovering from injury.

Tottenham form guide
After a blistering start to Ange Postecoglou's maiden campaign at the helm saw the club unbeaten in the first ten Premier League games, Spurs have proven consistently inconsistent.
Like their opponents this afternoon, Spurs were forced to share points with West Ham last month before rebounding with a convincing 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest.
Their burgeoning momentum would be immediately halted as a 4-0 loss to Newcastle at St James' Park marked their heaviest defeat of the campaign so far.
Spurs failed to put a dent in Arsenal's title ambitions when they played host to Mikel Arteta's side, while the club's woes continued Chelsea ran out comfortable victors at Stamford Bridge in midweek.
Champions League football remains a possibility if they can turn their recent form around but they will be up against it at Anfield today.

Liverpool form guide
When Jurgen Klopp announced earlier this season he would bow out after nearly a decade on Merseyside, his side appeared on course to secure a fairytale ending to his time at the club.
However, a dip in form over the last few weeks has seen the club knocked out of both the FA Cup and Europa whilst losing significant ground in the title race.
A late Mo Salah penalty was enough to secure a point against Manchester United at Old Trafford last month but defeat to Crystal Palace the following week left their title ambitions in tatters.
The Reds appeared back to their best in a 3-1 win over Fulham but the jubilation proved short-lived as a bitter defeat against Everton followed by a frustrating 2-2 draw with West Ham has left the club needing a miracle to return to the top of the table.
Klopp's men need both Arsenal and Man City to drop points to have any chance of returning to the title picture but first they must get past Tottenham.

Good afternoon...
... and welcome to Mail Sport's live blog for Liverpool's clash with Tottenham.
Just a few short weeks ago, this game looked set to have significant implications for the title race and the battle for Champions League places.
However, both sides have slumped of late, with Liverpool's title ambitions hanging on by a thread and Ange Postecoglou's men facing an uphill battle if they are to usurp Aston Villa to finish fourth.
Nevertheless, both teams will be determined to get back on track at Anfield in what promises to be a fascinating clash.
Back in September Spurs handed Liverpool their first league defeat of the season courtesy of a goal from Son Heung-min and a Joel Matip OG, but can they do the double over the Reds?
