This is the adorable moment Jeremy Clarkson squeals with delight as he cuddles and welcomes piglets to his farm.

The former Top Gear and Grand Tour host could not contain himself as he gushes about the adorable five baby pigs.

The 64-year-old bends down to take a closer look at the new arrivals at his Diddly Squat Farm and coos: 'Oh look, oh they're adorable. Well done, Mum.'

Jeremy lovingly holds one in his arms in scenes shot in the third episode of the new series of Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime.

He proudly points at the cute little piglet shouting with glee 'look, look!' before giving it a gentle cuddle.

The 64-year-old says: 'Your father wasn't a pedigree Sandy and Black, but whoever he was he had produced some very brilliant offspring.'

His affections then turn to the runt of the little as he holds the 'micro pig' in his arms as a smiling Kaleb Cooper stands next to him.

A person can be heard shouting off camera that the pair look like proud parents, but the it takes a dark turn as Jeremy says: 'Sadly this happy moment was short lived.'

Viewers then learn the 'little runt piggy' went missing the next morning as Jeremy tells his girlfriend Lisa Hogan how he had met a gruesome end - by being eaten by his mother, 'with just a bit of an ear left' in the sty.

Earlier, Jeremy was over the moon as he welcomed the 10-strong herd to the farm, which he quickly dubs 'Piggly Squat'.

Lisa, meanwhile, is left 'beside herself' at the cuteness overload as they root for potatoes.

In other emotional scenes in the new series, it has also emerges that Jeremy allows his beloved cow Pepper to be sent to an abattoir.

He took a shine to the animal in Clarkson's Farm 2, after chatting with a young daughter of a cattle breeder

He said: 'This is my pet. Five-year-old Rosie, from the farm we bought her from, said this cow was her favourite.

'She asked: "Would you look after Pepper for me?" So I said I would.'

However, later in the series, a vet discovered Pepper wasn’t pregnant, and someone suggested that she should be sent for meat.

Jeremy snapped back at the time with: 'I’m not eating Pepper, and that’s the end of it.'

But after having a change of heart, he apparently allows Pepper to be taken to slaughter.

He comments: 'I’m finding today really quite sad. Pepper is going, obviously — what do you think will become of her?'
