Luton captain Tom Lockyer remained in hospital undergoing tests and scans on Sunday after suffering a cardiac arrest on the pitch during Saturday's abandoned match at Bournemouth.
Following the incident at the Vitality Stadium that halted play in the second half, the Hatters confirmed Lockyer was 'responsive' before being taken to hospital and was in a 'stable' condition.
An update from the club on Sunday said: 'Tom is still undergoing tests and scans, and is awaiting the results before the next steps for his recovery are determined.'
The statement on lutontown.co.uk added: 'We understand that supporters are concerned for him and that there is widespread media interest in his condition.
'We are unable to provide a running commentary on his situation, and request that all media please wait for any updates to be released via the club's official channels when the time is right.

'We all want the very best for Tom, his partner Taylor and the whole Lockyer family, and politely ask that his and their privacy is respected at this difficult time.'
The two sides were level with the game at 1-1 when Lockyer suffered a medical emergency during the game at the Vitality Stadium.
Immediately after he collapsed to the ground unchallenged Edwards raced on to the pitch to lead players away from the incident as medical staff urgently attended to the Wales international.
Both teams returned to their dressing rooms as Lockyer was transported from the ground to hospital on a stretcher, with the Bournemouth staff doctor confirming that he was 'alert and responsive.'
Half an hour after the incident the game was officially abandoned with players not wishing to continue.

'He is all that matters. It felt a little bit wrong to celebrate at the time, I just felt emotional.
'The staff were so good at half-time. They said to the players he was OK. They were able to calm everyone down. I backed that up and it was a case of business and focus and, “We’re doing it for Locks”. That was the message.'
