Manchester City survived an early scare to stroll past Ipswich in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon.
Town debutant Sammie Szmodics shocked the Etihad when he put the new boys ahead in the first half, but the lead lasted just a matter of minutes with Erling Haaland scoring from the spot.
Kevin De Bruyne made it two minutes later, and Haaland then slotted home again to end any Ipwich hopes early doors. The forward secured his hat-trick late on.
Later in the game, Ilkay Gundogan made his return after rejoining from Barcelona as a second half substitute.
