Manchester United and Liverpool will hold talks with free agent Adrien Rabiot over move this summer, according to a report.
The Red Devils have been uncharacteristically efficient in the way they have conducted their business so far this summer. They are on the verge of adding young defender Leny Yoro to their ranks , having already completed the signing of Netherlands forward Joshua Zirkzee.
United fought off competition from the Reds to sign the Lille youngster and, according to Football Italia, the clubs are set to compete once again this window.
The outlet claim that the midfielder, whose Juventus contract expired earlier this summer, will hold talks with several clubs, with the Premier League pair believed to be among his suitors.
The 29-year-old is also reportedly of interest to Newcastle United this summer.

Adrien Rabiot is a free agent after his contract with Serie A giants Juventus expired earlier this summer
Rabiot started five of France's six games at Euro 2024, missing only the quarter-final win over Portugal through suspension.
The midfielder came through the PSG academy before going on to make 227 appearances for the side in all competitions.
He opted to move to Serie A with Juventus in 2019 and managed to get his hands on the league title at the end of his debut campaign.
Rabiot may yet remain in Italy, with Napoli - under new boss Antonio Conte - another side reported to be interested in bringing him to the club.
However, with wage demands reported to be in excess of £7million-per-year, it may only be a Premier League club that is willing and able to fulfill his needs.
Liverpool, who are gearing up for the 2024-25 season under new head coach Arne Slot, have not made any moves in this summer's market.
