Manchester United like Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries and have re-visited a proposed swap involving Aaron Wan-Bissaka but talks are not advanced.
Erik ten Hag's side are stepping up their attempts to bolster their full-back stocks during the summer transfer window, amid concerns over the fitness of Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw.
Wan-Bissaka, whose contract expires in 2025, is currently the only senior full-back on their pre-season tour of the USA.
Dumfries played an integral role in the Netherlands' Euro 2024 campaign, starting in all but one game on their route to the semi-finals and can feature as a right back or as a right wing back.
His contract at Inter Milan is also due to conclude in 2025 and the Red Devils have been admirers of the 28-year-old for several years.

The Dutch defender made 36 appearances across all competitions for Inter last season notably scoring four times in the Italian top-flight on their route to being crowned Serie A champions.
Wan-Bissaka, who joined the Red Devils from Crystal Palace for £50million in 2019, made 22 appearances for United in the 2023-24 campaign, has been linked with a move away from the club.
Viktor Lindelof, who filled in at full-back at times during United's defensive crisis last season also has a year left on his contract.
