Manchester United have reportedly failed in their attempt to keep hold of Omari Forson, with the youngster set to move to Monza this summer.
The 19-year-old forward is out of contract at the end of the month, and United had hoped to secure a new long-term deal with the player.
However, after more than six months worth of negotiations, Fabrizio Romano has said that he turned down United's offer in favour of a new experience in Serie A.
Forson is said to be in Italy and is expected to sign for Monza on a four-year deal until June 2028.
The move is a blow to Erik ten Hag's side, who gave the highly-rated teen his first-team debut last season.

He then made his full debut in the 2-1 home defeat by Fulham the following month.
In all, he made seven appearances across the season, including a cameo in United's FA Cup semi-final win over Coventry at Wembley.
