Manchester United have been handed a favourable start to the 2024-2025 Premier League campaign, facing Fulham - who finished in 13th place last season - at Old Trafford in their opening game. But, it's the Christmas period that will concern the fans.

The English top-flight fixtures for the 2024-2025 campaign were revealed on Tuesday morning at 9am, with the United faithful eagerly waiting to see who they had been pitted against and when.

Despite a disappointing Premier League and European campaign last season, Ten Hag's managed to beat their local rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup to finish the 2023-2024 campaign with some silverware.

However, the United fans will be expecting more from the Dutch manager and his side during the 2024-2025 campaign - with the Red Devils set to face Marco Silva's in their opening game of the season.

They will then travel to Brighton for their first away fixture of the season - with the pressure on Fabian Hurzeler, who has become the youngest ever full-time boss of a Premier League team after signing a deal with the Seagulls until 2027.

United will take on Arsenal on December 3 at the Emirates Stadium and Manchester City at the Etihad on December 14 before travelling to Anfield to face Liverpool on January 4

United's first real test will come on August 31 when they face Liverpool - who will be playing under their new manager Arne Slot following Jurgen Klopp's departure at the end of last season.

But it's the Christmas period that will have the United's fans looking through their fingers. The Red Devils will travel to Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool in the space of a month.

Therefore, the Christmas period could be a defining point in Manchester United's season - with the 2023-2024 campaign highlighting how the Red Devils can struggle away from home.

Manchester United will round-off the 2024-2025 Premier League campaign at home against Aston Villa - with Ten Hag hoping to have finished higher than last season to prevent any more question marks surrounding his job.
