Jadon Sancho is becoming a 'nightmare' for Manchester United as efforts to shift the banished £73million winger in January falter.
Erik ten Hag would willingly offload Sancho next month with little sign of the pair making up.
Sancho, 23, has been training and even eating with United's academy players since he essentially accused Ten Hag of lying in a social media post after he was dropped for September's trip to Arsenal.
He has been linked with a return to former club Borussia Dortmund, with Donyell Malen potentially coming the other way, but The Sun report the Germans aren't keen.
Fellow Bundesliga club RB Leipzig have also expressed an interest but have been put off by Sancho's reported £350,000-a-week wages.

Meanwhile, United don't want to see a player who has flopped for them join another Premier League club on loan, further limiting options.
The Sun quoted a source as saying: 'The situation with Sancho is turning into a nightmare. Club, manager and player are keen for a deal to happen in January.
'They have been working flat out to try to get something in place. A loan move is in the interest of all parties but, so far, nobody has come in with a firm offer.
'Dortmund were interested but there is a concern that Sancho won't be fit enough to hit the ground running, which is putting them off.
'And his wages are putting off others as well, including RB Leipzig. It's still possible a club in Spain or Italy might come in for him, but as things stand there are no offers on the table.'
They add that the situation is 'growing increasingly untenable' and incoming investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who will take control of football operations when his £1.25billion buy-out is ratified, wants the situation resolved.
Sancho, whose United contract runs until 2026, featured off the bench in United's first three Premier League matches this season.
But after Ten Hag revealed he'd not reached the required standards in training, he was left out the squad for the 3-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium on September 3.

Within minutes, Sancho released a statement on social media that 'I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself very well in training this week.'
He added: 'I have been a scapegoat for a long time, which isn't fair!'
On September 14, United announced Sancho would train away from the first-team group.
