Manhunt for violent burglar on the run after absconding from prison - as police release picture of thug

A manhunt for a violent burglar on the run has been launched after he escaped from prison.  

Ricky Wall, 23, is serving a seven-year sentence in Hollesley Bay Prison in Woodbridge, Suffolk, for aggravated burglary. 

He was last seen at 9am yesterday and has been described as having brown hair and brown eyes. 

At the time of Wall's escape, he was wearing a dark green tracksuit, a black baseball hat and trainers. 

Anyone who sees Wall or has any information on his whereabouts has been urged to call Suffolk Police on 101.
