Several Manchester United stars made last-dash trips over to Monaco for the Formula One Grand Prix after celebrating their FA Cup title win over Man City deep into the early hours of Sunday morning.

Mason Mount was amongst those to arrive at the Monte Carlo circuit on Sunday and was kitted out in a virtually all-white ensemble as he was invited to the most glamorous race of the year as a guest of Red Bull's.

But it wasn't one of his Man United colleagues that Mount was joined by in the paddock, but instead attended the event with his former Chelsea colleague Ben Chilwell.

The pair have remained close friends since Mount departed Stamford Bridge in a £60m transfer to Old Trafford last summer and looked to be enjoying themselves in the baking Monaco sunshine.

Both Mount and Chilwell are now at the beginning of their post-season break with neither selected as part of Gareth Southgate's provisional 33-man squad ahead of the upcoming European Championship.

Mount's post-season break is now underway after he failed to be included in Gareth Southgate's England squad

Mount has endured a difficult first season at United - where he was given the club's legendary No.7 shirt upon joining - battling with numerous injuries and making only 20 appearances across all competitions, scoring just one goal in the process.

However, he was fit to play a part in Saturday's Wembley showdown and came off the bench in the third minute of stoppage time as manager Erik ten Hag sought to run the clock down.

Meanwhile, plenty of Mount's United colleagues were also present as Diogo Dalot partnered Brazilian winger Antony on the grid.

Dalot has been one of the club's best performers this season and was recently crowned United's players player of the season.

He also played an integral part in the weekend's FA Cup triumph and was in great spirits as he walked amongst the various Formula One cars, sparing a moment to speak with Sky Sports presenter Martin Brundle.

United's Diogo Dalot was also in attendance as he attended a Formula One race for the first time

It was the first time that Dalot has had chance to properly share his feelings after his interview at Wembley was interrupted prematurely by United captain Bruno Fernandes.

Dalot gave his verdict on his team's FA Cup triumph, stating: 'It went very well. The best way to end the season and now it feels good to come here as an FA Cup winner.

He continued to explain how Monaco was his first F1 experience, adding: 'It's my first time. I couldn't pick a better place to come and it's an unbelievable experience. I hope I enjoy the race.'

Other football superstars were also present for raceday with Liverpool duo Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold in attendance, with Kylian Mbappe also taking in the sights of the super-rich setting.
