MasterChef viewers did a double take during Wednesday's show as they said contestant Louise bore an uncanny resemblance to former Prime Minister Liz Truss.
The 43-year-old from Somerset was one of six taking part in the second heat of the 2024 series.
Among her creations, Louise whipped up a honey and crème fraiche Panna cotta with lavender crumbled biscuit and blueberry compote for former finalists Jane Devonshire, Ping Coombes and Irini Tzortzoglou.
Fans took to X to comment on her striking resemblance to the politician, 48, thanks to her blonde bob.
Viewers wrote: 'Louise reminds me simultaneously of Alison Steadman and Liz Truss'
'Pretty sure that's Liz Truss' and 'The Liz Truss clone is very irritating'.

Speaking to the camera, Louise said: 'I liked the food I put out, I thought it was yummy. I hope they do too.'
Of her reasons to enter the show, she said previously: 'For at least 15 years my friends and family have been badgering me to apply for MasterChef. The reason I applied this year was that I had just had my five-year cancer-versary.
'I was diagnosed when my daughter was 18 months old and our world imploded. My diagnosis and intense treatment took a long time to come to terms with and changed me.
'A positive change was to try to embrace all of life’s opportunities fully; not to say ‘no’ to scary things or to allow the myriad nasty side effects that I live with each day to stop me from having adventures. And so, I had to apply, and I am enormously glad I did.'
John Torode announced she had made it through to the quarter finals alongside Olivia and Jerome.
However some viewers felt Rana was 'robbed' as she was sent home after they watched Jerome cover his cherries in malt vinegar which left the judges unimpressed.
After her exit, Rana said: 'I went and did my best and enjoyed it and that’s all that matters. I feel gutted but I get to go home and see my little ones.'

'Rana was robbed' and 'My other half has just yelled FO at #MasterChef - yes Jerome we are all shocked. Rana was robbed'.
'Jerome put malt vinegar in his desert that disgusted everyone who had the displeasure of tasting it and still got through'.
It comes as John and Gregg Wallace addressed quitting MasterChef as the show celebrates its 20th series.
The duo have been hosting the show since it's 2005 relaunch, however it seems neither of them are ready to hang their judging boots up yet as they admitted they won't be stepping away from the show any time soon.
Speaking to Bella magazine, John, 58, joked: 'Who would we leave it to? Don't be ridiculous. That's too much responsibility for anybody - to take over from me and him, there's no way in the world.
'Where are you going to find two attractive people, one with hair, the other without, anywhere like that? There's no way!'
Revealing what it would take to get him to depart the hit BBC show, he teased: 'I think to get me out of place, they're going to have to push me out the door or blend my food to get me to taste it. That's when I'll be leaving.'
