Having brokered the mega fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, the man at the centre of the deal has further underlined his burgeoning clout in the world of boxing after posing with a host of the sport’s legends.

Turki Alalshikh, has taken to X - the social media platform formerly known as Twitter - to show that he rolls in the elitist of circles when it comes to boxing with a photo with over 30 of the biggest names to have graced the sport.

His excellency Alalshikh, the chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, has posted a photo with himself alongside a host of the world’s most recognisable fighters including: Mike Tyson, Manny Pacquiao, Sugar Ray Leonard, Ricky Hatton, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Oscar De La Hoya, Frank Bruno, Prince Naseem Hamed and Amir Khan.


Saudi has become a major player in world boxing with regards to staging the planet’s biggest fights - and Alashikh’s profile has soared as a result.

He was key in delivering the recent clash between Fury and Francis Ngannou, next month's ‘Day of Reckoning’ on December 23 that will see Anthony Joshua go up against Otto Wallin and Deontay Wilder clash with Joseph Parker on the same bill.

Alalshikh was also central to brokering the highly anticipated clash between Fury and Usyk for the right to become the undisputed heavyweight champion on February 17.

The fight, which will be held in Saudi’s capital city Riyadh, will see the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the world since 1999 crowned.
