Megyn Kelly on Thursday said 77-year-old Donald Trump is noticeably less sharp than he was in 2016 - but said she still felt he was 'more fit and more capable' than Joe Biden.
Kelly, who on Wednesday night co-hosted the Republican primary debate, appeared on fellow conservative Glenn Beck's podcast to discuss the race.
She said Trump has 'lost multiple steps' mentally, and noted he had repeatedly said Barack Obama was president, and warned current policy errors could start 'World War Two'.
Beck asked her whether she thought Trump has 'faded from where he was in 2020'.
Kelly replied: 'Yeah, I do. I mean, I'd take him over Joe Biden any day of the week. I don't think he's going to, you know, fill out this term, never mind a second.
'But there's no question Trump has lost a step- or multiple steps.'

Biden, 81, is struggling to convince the electorate that his age was not a problem: he has repeatedly said he should be judged on his accomplishments, but polls show his advanced years are troubling voters across the board.
Kelly said Trump, too, was not showing his age.
'He is confusing Joe Biden for Obama,' she said.
Trump has claimed that he used Obama's name instead of Biden's 'sarcastically', saying it was meant 'as an indication that others may actually be having a very big influence in running our Country.'
But Kelly said she didn't buy his explanation.
'I know he's now saying he intentionally did that; go back and look at the clips. It wasn't intentional.
'Look, any of us could have a slip of the tongue, but it's happening to him repeatedly. The reference about how somebody is going to get us into World War Two, confusing countries, confusing cities where he is, and it's happening more and more.'

Kelly said the decline in mental agility was unsurprising.
'With all due respect to Trump: This is what happens when you're 77-years-old,' she said.
'Trump seems inhuman, but he's not inhuman. He's a human. He's a man.
'DeSantis's line about Father Time spares no one was a good one.'
She concluded by saying that she would still chose Trump over Biden, despite Trump's slowing down.
'So, look, if it's between Trump and Biden, I don't think there's any question who's more fit and more capable,' she said.
'But are we really going to pretend that Donald Trump is just as vibrant and mentally sharp as he was in '16?'
