Michigan's game against Ohio State was briefly halted on Saturday after a nasty injury to Wolverines offensive linesman Zak Zinter.
Broadcaster FOX refused to show replays of the incident which left Zinter requiring a cart to leave the pitch.
Zinter was blocking when an Ohio State player fell forcefully onto his bent leg.
His parents raced down to the pitch to see their son while Michigan players left the sideline and walked on to the field to support their teammate.
Zinter was able to sit up on a stretcher and was given a standing ovation by Michigan fans.
Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy was pictured giving Zinter's parents a hug after their son was carted off the field.
On the next player, Blake Corum scored a touchdown in emotional scenes.
Zinter could have gone to the NFL draft last year but instead returned to play for the Wolverines in an attempt to win a national championship with Jim Harbaugh.
