Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has admitted that he does see himself returning to manage in Spain at some point in his career.
Arteta has transformed the Gunners in his first managerial role since hanging up his boots, making the club serious contenders once again.
The north London outfit have improved each year since he took charge in 2019 and find themselves in the title race on the final day of the season this Sunday.
Arteta's current deal with Arsenal expires at the end of next season and there is no doubt that the club will be looking to extend it in the near future.
The Spaniard was linked with the Barcelona job before it was confirmed that Xavi would be staying and has revealed he does want to work in his homeland one day.

Speaking ahead of Arsenal's clash with Everton on Thursday Arteta said: 'I have always thought that one day I will return.
'My home draws me a lot, our way of living, of getting together, the culture – and that means I always have it in my head.
'But I am happy here [at Arsenal], happy with how they treat me, and I really enjoy my job. But someday I suppose it will come, I'm not going to be away for my whole life.'

Arteta was born in San Sebastian, Basque Country, and joined Barcelona's academy at the age of 15.
He never managed to break into the first team and spent just one year of his career in Spain, playing for Real Sociedad in the 2004-05 season.
