Mikel Arteta has rallied his players to go and deliver 'the most beautiful day together' after his Arsenal side ensured the Premier League title race will go to the final day.
A 1-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford, courtesy of Leandro Trossard's first half goal, means that Arsenal will still be in with a shot at winning the title, regardless of Man City's result at Tottenham on Tuesday.
Arsenal finish the weekend in top spot, one point clear of City, albeit having played a game more which keeps the advantage with Pep Guardiola's team.
But after a 'tough' win at Old Trafford, Arteta has called on his players to deliver one more push after what has been a thrilling season for the Gunners.
'You don't have margins for error, these are big teams that make things difficult against you and you have will to win, that's emotional,' he told Sky Sports.
Mikel Arteta is not losing hope that Arsenal can serve up 'the most beautiful' final day
Leandro Trossard's goal ensured Arsenal will take it to the wire after beating Man United
'Today we wanted to open the door, last day in front of our people, our families will be there, let's create the most beautiful day together.'
Arsenal were not at their free-flowing best here, struggling to test Andre Onana like so many sides who visit Old Trafford have done so this season.
But Arteta knew this was a day that would be solely about winning the game and he was quick to credit the mentality of his players.
'We know how tough it is, that's why we have only won twice in 21 matches here,' he continued.
'We started the game really well, the goal affected us with the things we had to do on the ball.
'Playing backwards, playing safe, it wasn't progressing our play.
'We started to give our balls away and it was open. But the way we defended, we didn't give away much at all.
'The attitude of the whole team, the way Kai was chasing people all the time, the discipline and creating habits that were super important were very good today. It's a collective thing.
Kai Havertz (left) is convincced that 'anything is possible' when it comes to the title race
'We are really happy to win, especially what we did in the second half. That's another step the team has to make, to be even more dominant. But it was high stake today, the same at Spurs, great credit.'
Kai Havertz, who teed up Trossard for the match-winning goal, is adamant that 'anything is possible' between now the final whistle on the final day, refusing to buy into the conspiracy theories that Tottenham will roll over so Arsenal are denied the title.
'We prepared for the game very well, we didn't have our best game but we needed the three points and we have it now so we can be happy,' he told Sky.
'We have to win every single game as City are always keeping the pressure on.
'It is so nice to be in the [title] race and every week you have to play at your best.
'When you do it, it feels even better. We have one game and we need the whole club behind us – anything is possible.'
Arsenal know anything other than a Man City win on Tuesday puts their destiny in their own hands going into the final day.
