Real Salt Lake star Cristian 'Chicho' Arango has been suspended for violating the league's anti-harassment policy, MLS announced on Monday evening.

Arango, 29, will miss three Salt Lake games and the upcoming MLS All-Star Game, which he was selected for.

Real Salt Lake said in a statement that it had 'fully cooperated with Major League Soccer's investigation and accepts the disciplinary decision.'

MLS did not further specify what Arango had done to violate the league policy.

Arango, in his first full season with Salt Lake after joining the club in June 2023, is currently the league's top scorer.

Real Salt Lake forward Cristian Arango has been suspended four games by MLS, it announced

He has 17 goals in 23 appearances this season.

His ban will be served on July 17 and July 20, the MLS All-Star Game on July 24, and Real Salt Lake’s first Leagues Cup match on August 1.

Earlier this season, MLS suspended several players and Toronto FC coach John Herdman after a post-match skirmish with NYCFC players.

Herdman, defender Richie Laryea and goalkeeper Sean Johnson were suspended for a game, while Toronto forward Prince Owusu and New York City defender Strahinja Tanasijevic received bans as well after getting red cards.
